Welcome to El Cachete, a restored farmhouse in the rural heart of the Poniente Granadino, Andalucia. We run exclusive art holidays, with painting, drawing and sculpture, under the tuition of Vince Tutton, Martin Grimshaw and Mary Cairns.

We offer a new concept in creative holidays looking after every aspect of our clients' wellbeing. With only 10 bedrooms, the cortijo is a retreat from the world, with the best climate in Europe, clean air and wonderful light. In addition to the art tuition, we offer relaxing massage treatments, daily optional yoga sessions and a superb diet which is not only delicious, but nutritious, balanced and absolutely home made with local ingredients. There a variety of other activities including riding on our five beautiful horses under the very experienced care of Sian (Bsc Equine Science).

Non painters are of course very welcome and can, indeed often do, find participating in some parts of the art courses rewarding.
