Mary graduated from Brighton College of Art in Illustration, then studied Fine Art Printmaking at Camberwell. Learning to throw pots with C. Beasley, one of the last production potters, Mary established a studio at Livingstone Art Foundry. She continued her drawing developement with for eample intensive weeks at the Prince of Wales Drawing Studio and at the Royal Academy with Karn Holly of the New English Art Club.

Mary has exhibited at a number of galleries in London and Tunbridge Wells, with
solo exhibitions at the Wyer Gallery in London, the Galleria Tomar in Evora, and Trinity Art Centre in Tunbridge Wells.

Currently involved in portrait commissions and also very much enjoying bringing life drawing into schools, Mary sees her art as a way of exploring personal relationships.
