Booking Terms and Conditions

A deposit, as detailed on the price list, is required at time of booking. The balance of the cost is due no later than eight weeks before the start of your holiday.

Cheques should be made payable to El Cachete.

All prices shown in our tariff except where otherwise specified, are per person, based on 2 people sharing for twin/double rooms.

Notice must be given in writing if you wish to cancel a holiday.

Cancellation Charges:
More than 8 weeks before commencement of holiday - deposit only
Less than 8 weeks before commencement of holiday - 100% of total cost

In the unlikely event that El Cachete has to cancel a holiday, a full refund will be made.

All participants must be covered by their own travel insurance covering personal loss, damage or injury and for all activities that you decide to participate in during your holiday. We will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury. Your holiday travel insurance should cover these and all other contingencies.

We reserve the right to alter arrangements and programmes because of factors beyond our control such as weather conditions, staff sickness, unforeseen circumstances or when we consider it to be in the best interest of our clients. If changes occur they will be made known to our clients as soon as possible.

We do not accept any liability for:
Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorism, closure of airports, industrial action, natural disasters, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control; Participants medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday; Loss or damage to personal property or participants.

If you have a health condition that may affect your ability to take part in the holiday, please consult your doctor. It is your responsibility to be adequately fit bearing in mind that some terrain may not be level. A first aid supply will be taken on outdoor excursions but the leaders and tutors are not medically qualified and any treatment will only be given with your consent. Be sure to carry any specific personal medication. It is advisable to bring your EHIC card to entitle you to medical care as a citizen of the EU.

Any prices quoted in Euros are calculated on the exchange rate prevailing at the time of going to press.
